The project has been a popular destination for many homeowners, spanning over six seasons. In recent seasons, the project has transformed the 1835 barn of Dick and Sandra Silvas in Concord, Massachusetts, and a 1907 Craftsman-style bungalow in Santa Barbara. The show has also begun its 20th anniversary by renovating an 1886 Queen Anne-style Victorian in Watertown, Massachusetts, and will now move to Key West, Florida to renovate a circa 1886 Conch Captain home.

Samora Coles, the project’s co-founder, gave her advice and support.
The project, which is being managed by the Manhattan Community Board, is expected to create 200 new affordable and supportive housing units. It will also include a medical facility on the first floor. NYC Health + Hospitals, which operates public hospitals, is the owner. However, it is unclear if medical care providers will renew their leases after the new construction is completed.
