The Play House

Located in southeast Michigan, the Play House is a small-scale performance space that hosts a variety of events. The site includes a studio, rehearsal space, dressing rooms, offices and a theater. It is a nonprofit organization that is supported by several different sources, including the Staging Change program, a nonprofit organization that funds a variety of arts programs in the region.

While the Play House has been in operation since 1915, it has been undergoing significant changes over the years. For example, in the early 1990s, it was faced with increasing financial constraints, and its attendance and programming were declining. Despite these challenges, the organization continued to flourish, and became the country’s longest-running professional regional theatre. The playhouse has been able to remain afloat thanks to a number of generous donors and funding sources. In fact, the Play House has produced over 1,600 productions, including more than 100 world premieres.

The Play House has also spawned two resident organizations. One is the Hinterlands, which manages the Play House performance series, as well as books workshops and small scale events. The other is the Staging Change program, funded by the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan.

The Play House also has a program that allows low-income homeowners to get free playhouses. The playhouses are made of durable plywood, and they feature safe, non-toxic food colors. The playhouses are designed for children ages 2-5, and they are also a great way for children to practice their imaginations.

The organization has created educational theatrical programming for children as well as adults. It has also helped low-income children learn the basics of home ownership.

The Play House also holds an annual event called the Play House Project. This event, which will be held on December 3, will have teams build play houses for children of Habitat for Humanity homeowners. The teams will then present the completed play houses to the children. The teams will also have a chance to design a play house for another family in need.
