HomeAid Orange County is the founding chapter of a national non-profit organization with the mission to build and maintain dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives.
HomeAid's vision is to be a vital force in eliminating homelessness.
HomeAid believes every individual has worth and human dignity and deserves the basic provision of shelter as a necessity of life. In addition, as citizens of this nation, we have a civic and moral responsiblity to better the lives of others by sharing with others the gifts and talents we possess.
Founded in 1989 by the Orange County chapter of the Building Industry Association of Southern California, HomeAid acts as the housing developer and liaison between service providers, community volunteers, builders and specialty contractors.
With the support of the community, HomeAid has renovated or constructed 47 housing developments in Orange County providing refuge for homeless men, women and children. To learn more about HomeAid Orange County and how you can help provide shelter for homeless families go to www.homeaidoc.org.
